Opening Summer of 2014, give or take a couple years
I'm thinking we are going to have
around 30 games from the 80's and 90's. As we get bigger we will add
more and maybe add in some honorable mentions (newer games proven to be
loved) to the game list. Some suggestions on games will be much
appreciated, as will help to plan what people are actually interested
in.
I have ideas about fun promotions and events that will keep people coming through the door.
- -
Discount tuesdays or whatever day seems slowest where patrons buy
there tokens from the counter instead of the machine at a discounted
rate to be determined later. Also could be included in this is cheaper
priced food and or drinks.
- -
Once a month or once every other month we will award the player
with the highest score on our more popular game a prize which at the
current time makes sense to be free tokens to play more games.
All time high scores may also be set for a store record, and an
additional prize would be granted. Both sets of scores would always be
posted on a board or 80's television set, which i would need to bust
out the tube and install a monitor in.
- -
Tournaments for more popular games will be held and prizes can be
given away to the winner. The contests will have a small cover charge
to cover the cost for tokens, and the prize to give away. Contests may go on for an entire weekend or a day, depending on the event.
- -
Limited edition T-Shirts would be available for purchase at just
above cost for those who have either won a tournament or set a record
in a game. Additional shirts would be available for purchase for an inflated price for an additional source of revenue.
- - More Ideas coming all the time, but i dont want to lose focus of the love that is classic gaming.
I dont think i'll keep this background with the links at the bottom because i fear getting sued, but it was fun to make.
